Audio Director

Job Summary

Driving the creative and technical vision for an unannounced project, the remote Audio Director will develop an engaging audio strategy, manage a small team of audio developers, and collaborate with a cross-discipline team to enhance player experience through innovative sound design.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and execute a joyful audio vision aligned with project goals
• Provide clear objectives and creative direction while fostering team members' growth
• Coordinate with project leadership to address audio staffing needs and manage asset creation

Required qualifications

• Proven ability to define and deliver an audio vision for interactive projects
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including designers and programmers
• Strong understanding of audio workflows and interactive audio systems
• Ability to operate autonomously and navigate ambiguity while maintaining a creative vision
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Slack and JIRA
