Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Audio Editor for a full-time remote position based in Canada, who will manage the recording, editing, and mastering of branded podcast projects while collaborating closely with producers to ensure high-quality audio delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and running virtual sessions with guests, ensuring sound quality and technical troubleshooting
• Editing multitrack dialogue, performing noise and echo reduction, and mixing and mastering podcast episodes
• Collaborating with producers to develop episodes in line with the creative direction and managing overlapping production schedules

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in podcasting, including recording, editing, and mastering
• Proficiency in audio editing software and tools such as Descript, iZotope RX, and Waves plugins
• Experience with dialogue editing and audio repair techniques
• Familiarity with essential tech tools like Slack and Google Drive
• A passion for podcasts and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
