Audio Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the technical aspects of audio production, the remote Audio Engineer will manage the end-to-end audio signal chain and post-processing pipeline, ensuring consistent quality across various recording conditions and languages.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end audio signal chain and post-processing pipeline for all collection programs
• Define and document technical specifications, including sample rates, bit depth, and loudness targets
• Build technical QA processes to validate audio against specifications before delivery

Required qualifications

• Strong audio engineering background with experience in signal chain, recording, and post-processing
• Deep understanding of audio technical specifications and the ability to enforce them
• Experience ensuring consistent audio quality across varied recording conditions
• Familiarity with scripting for audio processing pipelines, preferably in Python
• Knowledge of speech quality metrics and their impact on AI model performance
