Job Summary

A company is looking for an Audio Transcriber/Proofreader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proofread verbatim transcripts by comparing them against audio recordings to ensure accuracy
• Resolve discrepancies between the transcript and audio, correcting errors and unclear passages
• Verify proper nouns and legal terminology for accuracy and consistency

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Word and/or WordPerfect
• Strong command of the English language with exceptional grammar and spelling skills
• Keen hearing and attention to detail to identify discrepancies in audio
• Research skills to verify proper nouns and legal terms
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
