Job Summary

To support innovative game development, the remote Audio Unity Developer will design, develop, and integrate audio systems within gaming titles, leveraging extensive Unity programming experience and a specialization in audio systems.

Key responsibilities
  • Design and implement audio architecture, collaborating closely with sound designers and gameplay teams
  • Mentor junior developers on audio pipeline best practices and drive audio features independently
  • Debug and optimize audio systems, addressing performance bottlenecks and ensuring high-quality audio experiences
Required qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a Unity game developer, with at least 2+ years focused on audio implementation
  • Proven experience integrating audio middleware (FMOD or Wwise) into Unity projects
  • Solid understanding of audio file formats, compression, and streaming strategies
  • Strong debugging skills related to audio issues such as sync and latency
  • A degree in Computer Science, Music Technology, Audio Engineering, or equivalent experience
