Job Summary
To support innovative game development, the remote Audio Unity Developer will design, develop, and integrate audio systems within gaming titles, leveraging extensive Unity programming experience and a specialization in audio systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement audio architecture, collaborating closely with sound designers and gameplay teams
- Mentor junior developers on audio pipeline best practices and drive audio features independently
- Debug and optimize audio systems, addressing performance bottlenecks and ensuring high-quality audio experiences
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Unity game developer, with at least 2+ years focused on audio implementation
- Proven experience integrating audio middleware (FMOD or Wwise) into Unity projects
- Solid understanding of audio file formats, compression, and streaming strategies
- Strong debugging skills related to audio issues such as sync and latency
- A degree in Computer Science, Music Technology, Audio Engineering, or equivalent experience
