Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Homeland Security, the full-time Audio/Video Technician will configure and manage AV equipment for live events, ensuring seamless multimedia experiences in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, test, configure, and monitor AV equipment for live and hybrid events
- Lead the deployment and integration of permanent AV systems in various settings
- Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures in collaboration with manufacturers
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in professional AV environments
- High proficiency with leading AV hardware ecosystems (e.g., Shure, QSC, Crestron)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for transporting and installing equipment
- Capability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability check
