Audiobook Licensing Associate

Job Summary

To support the growth of Spotify's audiobook catalog, the full-time Audiobook Licensing Associate will identify and evaluate content, negotiate licensing agreements, and build relationships with independent authors and publishers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate audiobook catalogs from independent authors and publishers to enhance Spotify's offerings
• Negotiate licensing agreements and commercial partnerships that deliver long-term value
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of independent publishers and authors

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in publishing, digital media, or content partnerships
• Proven experience in negotiating and closing commercial licensing agreements
• Strong understanding of the independent publishing ecosystem and its challenges
• Bachelor's degree; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
