Audit Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the continuous improvement of Department of Veteran Affairs audit processes, the full-time remote Audit Analyst will manage audit preparation, findings management, and reporting while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supports audit planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination activities
• Collects, organizes, and maintains cybersecurity audit documentation and evidence requests
• Analyzes audit findings and operational performance measures to facilitate decision-making and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of audit analysis experience
• Above average experience in reviewing cyber audit data for accuracy and compliance
• Experience in testing internal controls and audit procedures
• Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and compliance
