Audit Remediation Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Defense client, the full-time remote Audit Remediation Manager will manage financial audit statements, oversee audit remediation strategies, and provide governance communication and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial audit statements and readiness services to the Department of Defense
• Support the execution and oversight of the audit remediation and sustainment strategy
• Develop content for governance meetings and recurring financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ten years of experience in government financial management, including audits and remediation
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD financial management policies
• Experience in areas such as General Equipment, Inventory, and Real Property
