Audit Software Engineer Consultant
Job Summary
Working fully remotely, the Audit Software Engineer Consultant II will design, develop, deploy, and support full-stack applications and automation solutions for Internal Audit, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance audit processes and improve digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, data integrations, and automation solutions for Internal Audit
- Partner with auditors and data analytics team members to translate audit workflows and user needs into technical solutions
- Integrate analytics and automation capabilities into audit products while ensuring security and compliance with standards
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of software engineering or application development experience preferred
- Experience developing production applications, APIs, or automation solutions using modern programming languages, preferably Python
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD practices
- Experience with relational databases, data pipelines, and cloud services is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical partners
