Authorization Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist - Buy and Bill Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with regulations and company policies
• Resolve accounts receivables by working with various claim types and payer resources
• Verify patient benefits, obtain authorizations, and submit claims for buy and bill drugs

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounts receivable experience in a physician office setting
• Previous Buy and Bill experience preferred
• General knowledge of HCPCS, CPT-4, and ICD-10 coding
• Familiarity with multiple payer requirements for claims processing
• High School Diploma or GED required
