Authorization Specialist Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist Associate to manage prior authorization processes and insurance verifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Revenue Cycle teams, providers, and patients regarding service activities
• Complete precertification and ensure communication with providers and staff for peer reviews and denials
• Assist with financial matters and resolve issues related to insurance, billing, and collections

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience is required
• Experience in financial services regulatory environments is preferred
• Certification(s) and License(s) may be required based on specific duties
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
