Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist II to support the prior authorization request process in healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Aids the utilization management team by tracking and documenting authorizations and referrals according to policies
• Supports the authorization review process by researching and documenting necessary medical information for clinical review
• Verifies member insurance coverage and processes authorization requests in alignment with guidelines for timely adjudication

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required
• 1 - 2 years of related experience is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance is preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship
