Job Summary
To support timely access to mental healthcare, the full-time remote Authorization Specialist II will manage authorization data accuracy, process incoming authorization packets, and resolve client-related issues while collaborating closely with Billing and Eligibility teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing and validating incoming authorization packets and medical records requests
- Resolving missing Client ID and authorization-on-file issues by coordinating with various partners
- Auditing BPO authorization entry for accuracy and tracking performance against productivity standards
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing, authorization, or patient access
- Experience with VA/Community Care Network or government payer authorization preferred
- Familiarity with EAP authorization processes
- Ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously
- Proven track record of meeting quantitative productivity standards
