Authorization Supervisor

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Authorization Supervisor will manage the authorization denial pipeline, oversee the authorization team, and build automated workflows in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the authorization denial pipeline, identifying root causes and driving resolutions across payers
• Build and maintain automated workflows to reduce manual authorization work
• Manage and develop the authorization team, including staffing and quality audits

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in authorization, utilization management, patient access, or medical billing, with at least 1 year in a management role
• Proficient in SQL or able to quickly ramp up, with experience in data-driven workflows
• Prior experience managing teams in authorization or patient access
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify denial trends across payers
• Experience building repeatable workflows in high-volume, complex environments
