Authorization Support Representative

Job Summary

To support a dedicated team, the full-time remote Authorization Support Representative will manage inquiries regarding patient accounts, utilizing investigative skills to resolve authorization and eligibility issues while effectively communicating with patients and providers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and resolve incoming inquiries related to authorization and eligibility for patient accounts
• Investigate and obtain necessary information through various platforms and communication methods
• Accurately update patient accounts and log scheduling errors impacting workflow

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
• Previous experience in authorizations or radiology preferred
• Experience in a phone and/or customer support role preferred
• Strong investigative and analytical skills
• Proficiency in navigating computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
