Auto Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing and processing complex bodily injury auto and commercial transportation claims, the full-time Claims Examiner will review coverage, conduct investigations, determine liability, and evaluate damages while ensuring timely resolution in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process complex auto commercial and personal line claims, ensuring proper documentation and coding
• Manage the litigation process for litigated claims and coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters
• Develop action plans to meet state-required contact deadlines and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities

Required qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience with in-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification related to the line of business preferred
• Ability to secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in a team environment
