Job Summary

Analyzing complex auto and general liability claims, the full-time Telecommuter Claims Examiner - FL Licensed will determine benefits due, manage high exposure claims, and negotiate settlements while ensuring compliance with service expectations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Investigates and processes complex claims to determine exposure and manages claims to timely resolution
• Negotiates settlements and calculates reserves, ensuring timely claim payments and adjustments
• Coordinates litigation processes and vendor referrals while maintaining professional client relationships

Required qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial line auto policies, coverages, principles, and laws
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred
• Active state adjusting licenses as required for the position
