Job Summary
Responsible for the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, disposition, and settlement of Auto Liability claims, the full-time Auto Liability Adjuster will work remotely to determine coverage and legal liability for both first- and third-party claims, while managing complex coverage issues with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations to analyze coverage, determine liability, and assess damages
- Manage property damage claims, including those involving attorney-represented and non-represented parties
- Evaluate claims for potential fraud and collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit as needed
Required qualifications
- Minimum of two years of property claims handling experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Must have or secure appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively in challenging situations
