Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Auto Liability Specialist II will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle Auto Liability claims, focusing on determining coverage and legal liability while managing complex property damage claims with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations to analyze coverage, determine liability, and assess damages
• Manage property damage claims for both first- and third-party claimants, including those represented by attorneys
• Evaluate policy coverage, establish reserve requirements, and negotiate settlements while keeping stakeholders informed

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of property claims handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Must have or secure appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively in challenging situations
