Auto Liability Adjuster

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Auto Liability Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle Auto Liability claims, ensuring proper coverage determination and legal liability resolution for both first- and third-party claims.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations, including interviews and documentation evaluation, to analyze coverage and determine liability
• Manage property damage claims, including those involving attorney representation, while establishing reserve requirements
• Negotiate settlements and assess claims for potential fraud, collaborating with the Special Investigations Unit as needed

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of property claims handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Must have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to negotiate skillfully in challenging situations
