Auto Liability Adjuster

Job Summary

As a full-time Auto Liability Adjuster, the successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle Auto Liability claims remotely, ensuring coverage and legal liability are accurately determined while managing complex property damage issues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations to analyze coverage, determine liability, and assess damages
• Manage property damage claims for both first- and third-party claimants, including interactions with attorneys and body shops
• Evaluate claims for potential fraud and collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit as needed

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of property claims handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Must possess or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively in challenging situations
