Auto Supplement Writer

Job Summary

To support a collaborative claims environment, the fully remote Auto Supplement Writer will prepare accurate damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims, leveraging strong analytical skills and industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
• Understand the content of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in complex claims files

Required Qualifications

• Experience writing supplements within the insurance industry, preferably in a carrier environment
• Strong estimating fundamentals related to material damage claims
• Ability to manage a claims diary effectively
• Residency within the Eastern Standard Time zone is highly preferred
• Confidence in negotiating with body shops
