Job Summary
Utilizing extensive underwriting expertise, the full-time Technical Underwriter will manage and design strategies for the Auto book of business, collaborating with global colleagues to ensure portfolio quality and performance while operating remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust underwriting strategies based on performance metrics and data insights
- Lead initiatives to develop technical underwriting guidelines and best practices
- Manage complex queries and referrals, ensuring profitable business writing and portfolio management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of underwriting experience or High School Diploma with 10+ years of underwriting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Auto lines of business and the legal and regulatory environment
- Experience in portfolio management, underwriting, and product development
- Ability to lead through innovative thinking and collaborate across all organizational levels
- CPCU designation preferred
