Automated Controls AVP

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of automated internal controls, the full-time remote AVP, Automated Controls will enhance efficiency and strengthen control effectiveness across business processes and technology workflows while collaborating with various departments including Finance, Risk, and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of automated controls within investment, underwriting, settlements, and finance workflows
• Embed controls into data pipelines and establish continuous monitoring for key controls and risk indicators
• Design and maintain automated internal financial controls, ensuring reliability and auditable evidence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of relevant experience in risk, controls, internal audit, or technology risk, preferably in (re)insurance or financial services
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated controls integrated into business processes and technology platforms
• Strong knowledge of internal financial controls, IT General Controls, and operational risk frameworks
• Familiarity with data platforms and experience implementing automated controls within platforms like Palantir Foundry or comparable systems
