Automated Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Automated Software Test Engineer will design, develop, and operate cloud-based products for enterprise use, focusing on test automation and performance testing as part of a modernization effort for the General Services Administration (GSA).

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop system test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and API testing frameworks
• Support test automation solution planning and perform detailed test designs to enhance integration across distributed systems
• Gather non-functional performance requirements and build performance testing frameworks for development and QA teams

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with the ability to obtain Federal Government Public Trust
• 7+ years of full-lifecycle application development experience, including 3 years with AWS cloud platform and relevant technologies
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field can substitute for years of experience
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience with Selenium, Cucumber, API testing, and JavaScript development
• Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodologies
