Automated Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Automated Software Test Engineer will design, develop, and operate cloud-based products for enterprise use, focusing on test automation and quality assurance using industry best practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop System Test Automation Scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and API testing frameworks
• Support test automation solution planning and perform detailed test designs while collaborating with BAs and developers for Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
• Build performance testing frameworks and measure system performance metrics, while working closely with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issues

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be able to obtain Federal Government Public Trust
• 10+ years of full-lifecycle application development experience, with at least 3 years using specified technologies and AWS cloud platform
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field can substitute for years of experience
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience with Selenium Grid/WebDriver, JavaScript APIs, and API testing frameworks
• Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodologies, with knowledge of management tools like JIRA
