Automated Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Automated Test Engineer II who will focus on designing and developing automated tests to ensure code functionality and system requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests in collaboration with the QA team
• Utilize open-source tools or custom scripts for automating tests on back-end systems and web-based GUIs
• Define and execute detailed test plans, providing testing metrics and status updates to management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant engineering field
• 3-5 years of experience in test automation and/or software development
• Working knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver and TestNG
• Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and SDLC phases
