Automated Test Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in software testing, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that information systems meet organizational standards, while working remotely and requiring a Public Trust security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures to validate software and IT systems
• Document and communicate test results, while supporting the analysis of outcomes and resolution of issues
• Lead testing efforts, including manual and automated testing, across various software projects and environments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with proficiency in test automation frameworks
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and defect tracking management tools
• Advanced certifications in testing or quality assurance, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are preferred
