Automated Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document results while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure software quality and compliance with standards
• Lead testing activities for software and IT systems, documenting and communicating test results effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues, while also creating daily test metrics and reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
