Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases and scripts, and lead testing activities to ensure software quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance
- Document and communicate test results, providing analysis and support for issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
