Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure system integrity and user satisfaction
- Lead testing efforts and perform verification activities on software and IT systems to identify and resolve defects
- Document and communicate test results, providing insights for analysis and resolution of issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
