Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Automated Test Engineer, this remote position will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead testing efforts to ensure high-quality software deliverables for Veterans Affairs projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance
- Lead testing activities and document results, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and user requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
