Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases and scripts, and perform verification activities, all while working remotely and requiring a Public Trust security clearance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure software quality
- Conduct tests on software and IT systems, documenting results and resolving issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the analysis of test results and improve testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
