Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that all information systems meet organizational standards, while working remotely and requiring strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for various information systems and products
- Lead testing efforts and document results, ensuring proper operation and defect-free software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
