Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct tests on software and IT systems, and document results, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure systems meet standards and requirements
- Lead testing efforts and document results, providing analysis and resolution for any identified issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate test outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
