Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs projects, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and scripts, ensuring the quality of software products while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Perform verification activities and lead testing efforts on software and IT systems to ensure defect-free operation
- Document and communicate test results, providing analysis and support for issue resolution
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium and JUnit
