Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs projects, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that all systems meet organizational standards, while working remotely and requiring strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Document and communicate test results, while supporting the analysis of those results and resolving open issues
- Lead testing efforts, ensuring proper operation and quality of deliverables across various testing types
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium and JUnit
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
