Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, manage test cases, and ensure the quality of software products while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to meet organizational standards
- Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
- Document and communicate test results, supporting the analysis of outcomes and resolution of issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit)
