Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and cases, ensuring high-quality deliverables for information systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Implement improvements to testing processes and support analysis of test results to resolve issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with experience in test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
