Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for information systems and software products
- Perform and lead tests on IT systems, documenting and communicating results while resolving complex issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analysis of test results and improve current testing procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
