Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that information systems and products meet organizational standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to validate software functionality and performance
- Lead testing activities and document results, collaborating with project stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 10 or more years of experience in software testing
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with a proven track record in complex software projects
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, as well as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
