Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases and scripts, and perform verification activities for IT systems in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Conduct tests on software and IT systems, documenting and communicating results while resolving any identified issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analysis of test results and contribute to the improvement of testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
