Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead testing efforts for software and IT systems in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Lead testing activities, document results, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
