Automated Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that information systems meet organizational standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Conduct tests, document results, and support the analysis and resolution of issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
