Job Summary
Seeking an Automated Test Engineer for a remote, full-time position, this role involves creating and enhancing automated test suites using tools like WebdriverIO and Cypress to support the development of cloud-based analytics solutions for NOAA.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance automated test suites for end-to-end system tests, regression tests, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize AI tooling to maintain and improve automated test scripts for compliance and functionality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 3-5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python programming languages
- Technical knowledge of WebDriverIO, Cypress, or equivalent QA automation tools
- Experience with 508 compliance automated testing using frameworks like Axe
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and architectures, including AWS
