Automation Business Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the identification and optimization of automated revenue cycle workflows, the part-time remote Automation Business Analyst will manage the translation of operational requirements into testable specifications while collaborating with technical teams and operational subject matter experts.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate automation opportunities by collaborating with operational leaders to understand workflows and business impacts
- Document current-state workflows through process-shadowing sessions and develop necessary materials to ensure comprehensive understanding
- Translate operational objectives into functional requirements and support developers throughout the automation build process
Required qualifications
- Strong understanding of medical professional services revenue cycle workflows, with physician revenue cycle experience preferred
- Experience with athenaCollector claims workflows and eligibility verification processes
- Demonstrated ability in a Business Analyst or similar role to analyze complex workflows and create documentation, functional requirements, and test plans
- Experience with software testing, QA, and defect management
- Familiarity with LLMs, RPA, or workflow automation technologies is preferred
