Automation Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Automation Engineer on the Post Sales Systems team, the successful candidate will design, build, and maintain automation and AI systems for post-sales support, translating business workflows into intelligent automations that enhance customer experience and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automations in Zendesk to minimize repetitive support tasks, including ticket routing and customer outreach workflows
• Ensure seamless data integration and flow between various customer experience platforms, maintaining clean and accessible data
• Monitor automation performance and continuously improve systems based on stakeholder feedback and operational metrics

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in systems administration, business systems engineering, or customer support platforms
• Proven track record of building automations or integrations that have successfully delivered business value
• Hands-on experience with Zendesk at an admin level or higher
• Familiarity with integration platforms such as Workato or Zapier, and experience with REST APIs
• Understanding of AI/LLM capabilities and their application in operational workflows
