Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative automation solutions, the full-time Automation Engineer will develop and execute process control system integration projects, program PLCs, and handle HMI configuration while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Program PLCs and manage HMI configuration and design
• Commission, troubleshoot, test, and debug automation systems
• Prepare project documentation, specifications, and technical reports while interfacing with clients on technical matters

Required qualifications:

• BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred)
• Minimum of five years of experience in project-based automation and control engineering
• Experience in process-based industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, food and beverage, or specialty chemicals
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Emerson, and/or Inductive Automation is preferred
• Experience in consulting and/or system integration
