Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Creating an overall automation strategy, the full-time Automation Engineer will support continuous delivery efforts, participate in code reviews, and assist in test result analysis while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation strategies for applications under test
• Support and collaborate with testers and automation engineers in script development and execution
• Analyze test results and communicate defect resolution tasks to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Java, Selenium, BDD & TDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and CI/CD tools
• Strong knowledge of API automation with tools like REST Assured or Karate
• Experience with front-end and back-end automation, as well as writing SQL queries
• Proficiency in databases such as DB2, MongoDB, or Snowflake
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
